Web-based application re-design
Background
A web-based application that was utilized for customer service and support was not reaching its expected goals. The client wanted to identify and resolve the issues with the application.
Analysis + action
A comprehensive study was performed of both the intended audience for the tool and specific application. Web log information, click-tracking data, and surveys were analyzed. A usability study was planned and performed to clearly understand the exact problems that users were facing with the tool.
Results from the analysis of all the data led to immediate conclusions about corrective actions. The user interface was redesigned and a re-launch of the on-line application was conducted.
